Moe Moe North Korea

As previously established, Japan can make anything moe – the latest unlikely subject to receive this treatment is none other than China’s slave-state vassal, North Korea.

MoeMoe Kita-Chousen Dokuhon (Moe Moe North Korea Primer), is part of the “moe textbook” genre – essentially it is a dry textbook on the (admittedly fascinatingly bizarre and horrific) North Korean state and society, spiced up with the addition of cute illustrations, particularly of the goblinesque Dear Leader himself.

The content does however delve into the more salacious details of the Kim dynasty’s lifestyle – including descriptions of the “pleasure company,” a group of performers said to double as sex slaves to the generals.

Other moe content includes North Korea’s “military first” politics and its moe-some Taepodong missiles.

Foreign Samaritan Hunted

Authorities are hunting a foreign woman who revived an old lady whose heart had stopped.

The incident began at the “Tokyo Bay Grand Fireworks Festival,” held in Tokyo’s central Chuou ward, where a 68-year-old woman on her way home suddenly suffered cardiopulmonary arrest and collapsed, her heart having stopped.

Witnesses report a passing foreigner immediately went to assist, using her medical training to help resuscitate the woman. After reviving the woman she slipped away.

The woman is described as being blonde and white, in her late twenties or early thirties, and an English speaker who introduced herself as a doctor.

A hotel employee who brought his hotel’s defibrillator to the scene explains her disappearance – “It was dark and extremely crowded, and before we realised it the lady doctor had disappeared. The four of us remaining were left wondering who on earth she was.”

Paramedics summoned to the scene arrived after she had left report the old lady could have died without timely intervention. She is said to be recuperating.

Officials with the local emergency services are looking for the doctor – they wish to present her with an official letter of thanks.

Facebook Ninja Warrior Help/Guide

Ninja Warriors is a fun web-based ninja game for Facebook.

Missions - Complete missions to earn cash and experience points. Each mission requires a certain number of experience points to complete. You will be limited by the number of experience points that you have available. To be able to complete missions more often, allocate the skill points that you earn to increase your maximum energy level.

Tip #1 - Try completing the same mission over and over until you have achieved mission mastery. Once you have mastered the mission, you will be rewarded with a mahjong tile. Mahjong tiles can be traded at the bazaar for awesome permanent upgrades. See the bizaar section for more on trading in your mahjong tiles.

Tip #2 - Once you have completed a mission, you can click on the ask for help and get a bonus button. This allows your friends to help you and earn cash and experience points. As a bonus, you will get a portion of the cash and experience points that you friends earn. You can only do this once every 24 hours so make sure that you only ask for help on the best paying missions.

Tip #3 - By completing the power item missions you can gain an upper hand in fights(power item give blue bar increase to your dojo attack or your dojo defense depending on your configurations)

Properties - During the game, you will need to use money to purchase weapons, armor, and stealth items to use during missions and battles with other dojos. In addition to earning cash from missions, you can also purchase properties for a steady cash flow.

Tip #1- Each time you purchase a property, the price for the next increases. Lock in your price by purchasing multiple properties at a time. Try purchasing your properties in groups of ten. This is the maximum that you can purchase at a time.

Tip #2 - Tenants pay buy putting their rent payment into your cash box. This is where you must be careful because your cash box can only hold so much. Once the cash box is full, tenants stop paying rent until you come by to empty the box. To ensure that your cash flow stays consistent, empty the cash box frequently. Be sure to keep an eye on the cash box meter at the top of your screen. This will let you know when it is getting full.

Fighting - Fighting rival dojos can be exciting and challenging. Your success depends on the number of your Ninja Warrior dojo members and the tools that they have available to use during a battle. Check out this article for tips to build up your dojo quickly.

Tip #1
- Each dojo member can take one weapon, one piece of armor, and one stealth item into a fight. Make sure that you have one of each for each of you members to use. Also, as you progress through the levels, new items are unlocked. Check the market often to see if upgrades are available.

Tip #2 - Keep an eye on the colored bars at the top of the fight screen. This will help you determine how well your dojo is equipped for a fight. The bars will be either red, yellow, green, or blue. Red indicates that one or more members does not posses an item in the specific category. Yellow means that your member has an item to use, but a better item is available for purchase. A green bar shows that your member possesses the best item that money can buy. Blue is used to indicate a special item being used. Special items typically outperform normal marketplace items.

The Sensei - As you progress through the game, the Sensei will reward you with honor points for reaching milestones in your Ninja Warriors career. Use the points to acquire special items, hire ninja mercenaries, or refill your energy, stamina, or health.

Tip #1 - Since there are a limited number of honor points available in the game, hang onto them as long as possible. As you level up, special items with better stats will always become available. Hold onto your honor points as a last resort if you are in desperate need of new members or better items.

Tip #2 - Don't waste your honor points on cash or refills on your energy, stamina, and health. The amount of cash offered by the Sensei is often very low and can be easily acquired by completing a few missions. Also, try purchasing some property for a increase in cash flow. Refills on energy, stamina, and health are pointless. These items regenerate on their own with time so just be patient. Instead, spend your honor points on additional members and specialty items for maximum benefit.

Tip #3 - save up honor points to purchase power items like "The Ebon Tooth" to gain a advantage in fights

The Bazaar - Visit the bazaar to trade in the mahjong tiles that you collected for mastering missions. The tiles can be traded in for unique rings that grant your ninja permanent upgrades. Each ring requires a specific combination of three or four tiles. Once you have collected the tiles required for a specific ring cash them in for the bonus.

Tips #1 - You can see what tiles you have collected by visiting the bazaar tab. Under each tile, you will see a red x or a green check mark. The ones with green check marks are the ones that you have collected. Check back often to see if a ring if you are eligible to cash in tiles for a ring.

Dojo Recruit - The next step is to recruit your other friends who are not Ninja Warriors players. You can do this several ways. One way is to send individual invites to your friends. To send dojo invites, click on the dojo tab and scroll down until you see a list of your friends. Look through the list and select the ones who you would like to recruit. Once you have made your selections, click on the send Ninja Warriors invitation button. You can also post your recruit link to your Facebook wall by clicking on the post to recruit button above your friends list.

A great way to get your friend to accept your dojo invite is to use the chat feature on the dojo screen. This shows a list of your Facebook friends who are online. Just click on their name to chat with them. I have found this to pretty successful because it is hard for your friends to say no when you ask them 'in person'.

Once you no longer have any Facebook friends to invite, you may need to look elsewhere for additional dojo members. An excellent resource is the many groups on Facebook. Go to the groups page and type Ninja Warriors into the search bar. Once you have joined a group, type a quick message on the bulletin board letting everyone know that you are in need of more dojo members. You can usually expect to receive dozens of friend requests within a few days. For best results, consider joining and posting to several groups.

You can also hire ninja mercenaries from the Sensei. For 20 honor points, you can add two additional members to your group. Mercenaries not only add to your dojo member count but can be used during fights just like normal members.

Finally, be sure to stay active in your dojo. You should always aid your friends when they are in trouble. Also, help your friends get free gifts by sending out scrolls. By helping out your friends, they will be more likely to help you by recommending their friends to your dojo.

Help - How to be a Ninja

Here you can learn the basics of becoming a ninja. This page is a work in progress, so if you have a question that's not answered here, feel free to contact us. Rules about contacting support
Be concise. Try to get your main thought into the subject line and first few words of the message. Be efficient. Tell us what you want without asking us to respond first. This saves us a wasted round-trip. Read First. Before contacting about a support issue, check the News page. If it is addressed there OR in this help file we generally will not respond. No Whining. No complaining about the game being unfair. We are aware of the occasional imbalances in the game and plan to smooth them out in time.Give Details. If your bug report doesn't give us details such as amounts, user IDs, and timing, it is of little use.

Missions - When you first start out, missions are the best way to earn money and xp. Each mission offers a different reward, and requires different items. As you level up, you get access to better missions.
Loot

Some missions have a chance to drop loot items. These items are better than average items for your level, and best of all - they're free!

Properties - Properties are key to becoming a successful ninja. Your territory provides you income, which you can use to supplement the income you get from doing missions. Perhaps most importantly, income from properites offsets the upkeep you have to pay for your more powerful weapons. As you level up, you unlock more properties which provide more income per turn.

Properties get more expensive the more you own, so buy in bulk when you can!

Fighting - Fighting is core to a ninja's existence. To prove you're the best ninja in the world, you need to battle other ninjas and sit atop the leaderboard. Your power in battle is based on three factors:
Your stats. When you attack another ninja, your attack power is used. When you're attacked by someone else, your defense comes into play. Adding attack and defense points is always a good idea.
Your equipment. Your ninja can equip one weapon, one armor and one stealth item. The equipment your ninja wields adds to your attack and defense power, making you much more powerful. With no equipment, your ninja is as good as dead. When you're attacking, equip the weapon, armor and stealth item with the best attack ratings, and be sure to switch them out for more defensive gear when you're on defense.

Your dojo size. The number of members in your dojo makes the biggest difference to whether you win or lose a fight. Each member of your dojo can use one weapon, one armor and one stealth item from your inventory. Additionally, your ninja fights more effectively with more dojo members, giving you an added boost.

The winner of a fight steals 10% of the loser's money, so be careful how much cash you go walking around with.

If you die in battle, you lose experience points. The amount of experience points you lose goes up with your level.

A maximum of 500 friends will join you in battle, and you can hire another 500 mercenaries to fight for you as well.

Hitlist - The hitlist is where you turn when you can't beat someone fair and square. You can hire other ninjas to do your dirty work for you. A ninja's bounty price is based on their income, so build up that income - it's good protection!

When you're on the hitlist, you can't go to the hospital. You're on it until you die. The person to strike the killing blow gets the bounty, so be sure you attack more than once!
Hospital

You can pay a doctor to heal you up to 60% of your maximum health. You must pay for the doctor with funds from the bank.
Bank

When you put money in the bank, it can't be stolen when you're attacked by other ninjas. To pay for such a valuable service, a 10% fee is charged on deposits.

Sensei - Your sensei is a powerful ally. He offers a variety of powerups, as well as rare and limited edition items. Check with your sensei frequently if you want to get ahead.

Market - The shadow market is where you buy the items that you use to fight and complete missions. As you level up, you get access to more powerful items. Make sure you can pay for the upkeep!

Dojo - Your dojo is your most powerful tool in your quest to become the world's most powerful ninja. Your dojo size affects how well you attack and defend, so be sure you get as many dojo members as you can. Each ninja can be a member of multiple dojos, so don't be afraid to accept your friends' dojo requests. You can only invite your Facebook friends into your dojo, so don't be shy - friend other Ninjas!

You can have as many people as you want in your dojo, but a maximum of 500 of your friends will join you in battle.

Leaderboards - Screenshot or it didn't happen! You think you're the toughest Ninja around, and maybe you are. But until your name is #1 on the leaderboard, you can't prove it. There are multiple leaderboards, reflecting different playstyles. If you're on top of them all, you're dominating.

Profile - On your profile page, you manage your equipment and inventory. On other ninjas' profile pages, you can fight, punch or hitlist them.

Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated

Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated is the eleventh incarnation of Hanna-Barbera's Scooby-Doo series of Saturday morning cartoons. The series is produced by Warner Bros. Animation and is a reboot of the franchise.

This series is aimed at a somewhat older audience than other recent entries to the franchise, featuring a more suspenseful tone emphasizing "spookyness" and more detailed drawings and backgrounds, as well as more dramatic, dynamic lighting and camera angles (sometimes enhanced with CGI). The characters are now more fleshed-out, and more is learned about their individual lives. There is also a more prominent romantic element. The humor, too, is often more mature and self-referential than of any previous series.

Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated Intro

Plot

Fred Jones, Daphne Blake, Velma Dinkley, Norville "Shaggy" Rogers and Scooby-Doo make up the team of teenage mystery solving sleuths who live in a small town called Crystal Cove. The older generation and parents use the town's long history of ghost and monster sightings to bring in tourists out of greed, which leads to conflicts between the gang and their elders.

While solving mysteries, the gang must deal with a mysterious character, who is not yet revealed as friend or foe, named "Mr. E" (a play on 'mystery'). He gives the gang cryptic hints and clues revolving around the disappearance of four similar teenage sleuths who called themselves "Mystery Incorporated".

Aside from the main story, the show also focuses much of the attention on Velma and Shaggy's relationship as well between Fred and Daphne, although Velma and Shaggy are currently the only ones actually dating. This series marks the first time there has ever been a romantic relationship between the two characters.

Other interviews have also been found regarding the game.Information about the games' reveal at Comic-Con have also surfaced. A making of DCUO video has been released. DCUO was also shown and playable in Pre-Alpha form at major conventions throughout 2009, such as New York Comic Con, E3 and Comic-Con International. The game has been scheduled for release in November 2010. According to a Sony spokesperson, the revenue model will be subscription based, rather than using microtransactions.

Gameplay

DC Universe Online is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) set in the DC Universe. SOE hopes to make a different kind of MMORPG, with The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction being cited as one of the main inspirations for gameplay. SOE is working to make DC Universe Online more interactive than standard MMORPGs, while trying to keep their key elements, which include a leveling system, raid instances, endgame progression and inventories. The world is mainly shared, public space instead of heroes or villains owning territory. The public space features dynamically-generated content designed for both hero and villain player characters (uniquely created by the player, who cannot choose DCU stalwarts).

It is known that players will choose a city of origin for their character, the only known cities being Metropolis and Gotham City. Another location currently known to be in the game is Arkham Asylum, Gotham City's mental institution for criminals. Players can also go to the Justice League of America Watchtower, headquarters of the Justice League. Each character is given either a Justice League or a Legion of Doom communicator - depending on their choice of playing as either a hero or a villain - and the character's allegiance will affect how the game is played; for example, a hero character may encounter a thug robbing an armored truck while a villain character will instead rob (or, depending on character level, assist with the robbing of) said armored truck. It is also known that player characters have threat ratings which will cause both heroes and villains alike to interact accordingly with the character. The game's first Case is a battle between Superman, Lex Luthor, and Doomsday where the player can aid either Superman or Luthor in defeating/capturing Doomsday, respectively. Another Case involves a mutagen outbreak at Star Labs that infects all of the employees in the building.

Storyline

The story of DCUO is set in the 'present day' and the game begins with the arrival of a time-traveling Lex Luthor who has come to warn the Earth about a future battle that kills off the majority of heroes and villains, leaving the planet vulnerable to an invasion by Brainiac.

The Cinematic Trailer, "Who Do You Trust", which appears to be the opening sequence trailer of the game, depicts a dark future where Lex Luthor and other villains are engaged in what seems to be a final battle against what's then left of the Justice League. After the future Luthor and his allies (including Deathstroke, Joker and Harley, Black Adam and others) defeat Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern, and Cyborg, Brainiac's ship arrives overhead with an entire alien armada. Back in the present day, this future Luthor tells the Justice League that Braniac then proceeded to eliminate all of the heroes and villains who would attempt to defend Earth from his attack, Luthor remaining as the sole survivor. He stole some of Braniac's technology in order to return to the present day and inform the heroes.

Luthor sends some form of energy towards the surface of the Earth, which ripples in a shockwave around the geographical locations around Metropolis and Gotham City, and tells the JLA that he has just given them a fighting chance against Braniac. It has been proposed on many forums and reviews of the trailer, that Luthor used some of the same technology Braniac had utilized to copy the powers of Earth's Protectors, and projected it en-masse to random people all around those major cities, causing the emergence of more super-powered humans (i.e. the Player characters in the game world).

Gazette

The GazettE is a Japanese visual kei-based rock band formed early in 2002, currently signed to Sony Music Japan's VVV Records.

Biography

2002: Conception and early work

The foundations of the band began with Ruki (vocals), Reita (bass), and Uruha (guitar). After being involved with other bands in the visual scene, the trio decided that the GazettE would be their last band. They recruited Aoi (guitar) and Yune (drums) from disbanded visual band Artia and so began the GazettE in January 2002.

Originally signed to Matina, they released their first single, "Wakaremichi", and a video release on April 30, 2002. They re-released Wakaremichi and the video release in June of the same year. By September, they had released "Kichiku Kyoushi (32sai Dokushin) no Nousatsu Kouza" and their second PV release. In October they played their first one-man live. On Christmas, the 5-song compilation including the Gazette's song "Yougenkyou" was released.

2003: New drummer and Cockayne Soup

In early 2003, Yune decided to leave the band, and he was replaced by Kai. Shortly after, they signed with the PS Company label and in May, released their first EP, Cockayne Soup. They started their first tour, with the band Hanamuke, and along with the tour, the bands collaborated on two songs. A second tour followed with the band Vidoll, and the bands were featured together on the November issue of Cure, a magazine focusing on Visual Kei bands.

In early December, they played a co-headlining show with Deadman. On December 28 they performed at Fool's Mate magazine's Beauti-fool's Fest which was later released on DVD.

2004: Disorder

On January 16, 2004 they recorded a solo performance at the Shibuya-AX, which was released on DVD as Tokyo Saihan -Judgment Day.On March 30, 2004 they released their Madara mini-album, which reached #2 on the Oricon Indie Charts. Madara was followed in May by a companion DVD, which included six music videos and an in-the-studio documentary. The same month, the GazettE was featured in Shoxx magazine's Expect Rush III, a catalogue of independent Visual Kei artists. A second live DVD, Heisei Banka, was released in August. During September and October they toured with fellow PS Company bands Kra and BIS. Their debut album, Disorder, was released in October and made it to the top 5 of the indies Oricon Daily Charts.

The band spent the remainder of 2004 and 2005 touring extensively, releasing Gama, another mini-album, in August.

2005-2006: Nil and Nameless Liberty Six Guns

In 2005, the band released their first major label single, Cassis, in December.

Starting 2006 with a name change—from Japanese characters to a romanized script—they released Nil, their second full-length album, on February 8, 2006,and embarked on another Japanese tour, ending at the venue Nippon Budokan. That July, the GazettE performed at the Beethovenhalle in Bonn, Germany, their first show outside of Asia. The concerts were arranged in conjunction with the AnimagiC anime and manga convention.

2007-2009: Stacked Rubbish and DIM

Three more singles were released followed by another studio album, Stacked Rubbish on July 4, 2007. It reached #2 on the Oricon charts within a day from the release. The album debut was followed by a promotional tour from July through September. In October, the GazettE embarked on their first European tour, performing in England, Finland, France, and Germany.

A single named "Guren" was released on February 13, 2008, which landed a #1 spot on the Oricon Charts. It was announced that a new DVD would be released in August, and a new single Leech in Autumn 2008, which also landed a #1 spot on the Oricon daily charts.

The GazettE accomplished a one man tour through all of October called "From the Distorted City," referencing to the song "Distorted Daytime" in their single "Leech," which portrays Tokyo as a "distorted city," in terms of the society and political crisis sweeping over Japan.

On November 15, 2008, the GazettE hosted their first secret show in Shinjuku Station. Originally, around two-hundred fifty people were to be anticipated, but instead, over seven thousand attended, the most in the band's history. Due to the amount of people on the streets, the police were forced to shut it down after two songs.

On January 3, 2009, the GazettE performed alongside their fellow bands signed to the PS Company label to celebrate the record label's tenth anniversary, where they announced they would release a new single called "Distress and Coma", which was preceded by a seventh-anniversary performance on March 10 at Makuhari Messe Convention Hall.

The band released their next full-length studio album, "DIM" in the summer, followed by another Japan-wide summer tour starting in July, for which the tour's final show was held at Saitama Super Arena.

On October 7, 2009, they released their new single called "BEFORE I DECAY". On December 24, the GazettE held a Christmas Eve live to close out the year called "A HYMN OF THE CRUXIFIXION".
